In her native Cayman, island beauty Selita Ebanks stays cool
in the season’s hottest dresses.
The almond eyes, endless legs and generous smile have been on runways, billboards, commercials and magazines around the world since she began modeling seven years ago. Yet, as the plane touches ground, it marks the first time that Selita has come to her birthplace, to be photographed along Grand Cayman’s cliffs, white beaches and turquoise waters. A glow spreads across the 24 year-old’s face, not unlike the reddish hue that drapes the island each evening at sunset. “Welcome!” she shouts like an excited child to the crew who have joined her for the weekend. And, scrambling off of the jet to the family who are waiting, her joy proves that the old adage is true–there really is no place like home.
